I ran into a guy an elderly guy on the street today decked out in his Korean war veteran gear (hat and patches on the jacket, etc) and just said "Thanks".
He just nodded and smiled.

We often forget to remember the incredible sacrifices made by few for the many. The horrors they have seen, so that others don't have to, and how much we have to be grateful for.
