A little deja vu moment here: We just had a woman brought into the ER two weeks ago who was driving on the highway when she discovered a spider in her car. She crashed her car into a concrete pile and was brought in by ambulance. Luckily she had no serious injury, but by the time she was brought in we had already heard on the local radio that she caused a traffic jam of 20 km :-)

That was cool. And Ione Skye did the song...I love that name. My daughter's middle name is Ionie. Don't worry. Her first name is a "normal" one.

You are obviously threatened by PAs or you wouldn't spend so much energy complaining about PAs. Maybe your hospital didn't hire the best PAs in the world, or maybe you're miserable because a midlevel can do many of the things you do. I hate to say this but I've worked with many incompetent doctors, it's a shame that having an M.D. after your name automatically gives you a license to hurt and kill patients. I've worked with PAs that know more than some of the docs. I think every profession has the good and the bad. You're way too angry, maybe you need to find another profession...
