The Most Popular Blog in the Ecosystem

Instapundit, you might think? The Daily Kos? Michelle Malkin?
Hardly. Those heavy hitters are insignificant microbes compared to the new Higher Being on the block. No, the most popular blog by far in the TTLB Ecosystem is a blog about grandfather clocks.
Weird glitch in the system, I suspect.

I strongly suspect someone figured out how to game the system and got that site to #1 for holiday marketing purposes. If you look at the "score", the clock blog is 58,541, where the #2 blog score (Michelle Malkin) is only 6207, nearly an order of magnitude difference. Not legit.
Heh. You and I are the only two people in the blogosphere who seem to have noticed.
Your post was funnier than mine.
hey, grandfather clocks
Actually...I just bookmarked the site because I have an old grandfather clock that I would love to know the age/history on. If anyone knows where I could possibly get such info please let me know.
My clock is a family heirloom. It was made in Germany. My mother is 84 and she remembers it being brought into my grandparent's back door into the kitchen on a rainy Saturday morning. She said she was 7 and that would've been 1930. She also said she thinks it belonged to another family who sold it for money during the depression. It is a simple yet beautiful clock and STILL keeps time although a little fast. It goes of every quarter hr and then chimes on the hour. I don't have much from my past to remind me of my family but I cherish this piece because I grew up with it too. I should do a post on it sometime. If only it could talk...the stories it could tell. :) I would never sell it. Feels like a family member of sorts.
