The Best New ER Blog

That I have seen in quite a while is over at White Coat Rants.

Great stories and storytelling, side-splitting humor, and just the right amount of snark. My favorite examples are the Chinese pager torture and the anxiety disorder of Mr. Wayne.

Welcome to the medblogosphere, and keep up the good work!

Dr Scapel,

Justice is swift and merciless here at your blog. Has Mr ER Tech Dude been deleted from your blogroll? Or am I just not seeing it because, like Nurse K, I am not properly deferential?

Since I don't use an RSS feed, my blogroll is simply a way for me to keep track of sites I like to visit. I don't use it for punitive purposes nor do I keep blogs there simply because they link to me.

If you like my blog, I am honored to be linked, but I don't get my feelings hurt if I'm not linked.

Heck, I've still got OverMyMedBody on there, even after our little spat, because I like his blog.

There are a couple of other bloggers who have seemingly gone into hibernation that I might yet remove though. Not to punish them, but if they aren't writing stuff I want to read, then why keep them there?

I think the idea of blogroll reciprocity for its own sake is pretty silly. I accept that other folks use their blogrolls differently than I do, but that's how I use mine. It's not static.

By the way, I think WhiteCoatRants got around 1500 hits yesterday. Cool stuff.

"I am not properly deferential...."

Hm, "K", you can make it a little less obvious that you're ERTechDude...

Thanks for the discovery. I enjoyed his blog as well and added him to my blogroll.
And don't worry, my feelings aren't hurt you haven't added me to your roll. Cool that you made it clear how you use yours. Take care and keep on blogging :)

Honestly, I don't read your blog because of the shocking color scheme.

I've never made it past a couple of sentences.

Hi back Scalpel. You know I get a significant amount of traffic from you every day, I sure appreciate it, since you are one of my absolute favorites!

Nurse K,

Unfortunately, you missed the scathing sarcasm in my comment "not deferential enough."

That was my interpretation of his temper tantrum---your lack of appreciation for his patronizing advice. LIKE I said elsewhere, why bring out the "crazy" label when all he had to do is say "I disagree, but good luck."

Jeez. Falsely accused (almost wrote accursed--ha-ha) of being ertech dude! And NO!! I am not the Speaker, either!!

Dr S--I prefer the swift and merciless image. Wearing black, kinda like Shane, if anyone here remembers that movie.

No one can link to my site--I have no site to link, because I am too busy reading everyone else's excellent sites.

I'm kinda an ER blog tramp. With a heart of gold, of course.

I agree. I've added it to my bookmarks. Don't remember who first tipped me off....perhaps ER Nursery whom I have also added to bookmarks.

It's 'whom'.

'Whom' you use in place of "him or "her"

'Who' you use in place of "he or she"

perhaps ER Nursery, whom I have also added to bookmarks.[proper comma added]

In order to determine if you should use who or whom, change to: I have added her to bookmarks. You don't say 'I have added she to bookmarks'.

Thus, it is whom. ;-) You were correct.

I am a grammar nerd.

Thank you Nurse K.
I never knew what the rule was. I am a mere spelling nerd.....I suck at grammar.
