Congratulations! I love reading your blog, you have such a captivating way of writing.
May I make a suggestion for starting a new year? You should give your blog a nice header graphic or image. I'd be happy to design one for you if you're interested :)

Ooh, what a great idea. I wanted to put one up from the very beginning, but I couldn't figure out the code to stick it in the template properly.

I'd definitely appreciate any help or ideas. I can't believe I haven't seen your site before.

There are 8 there, you've had 4, right? I really enjoy your blog, and recommend it to everyone. Oh, one question, how do you stop at 4?

Congratulations scalpel. You have become my favorite ER doc.

vanessa-can't wait to check out your site also.

joints-a touch of OCD perhaps? I thought I was the only one who counted arbitrary things....but then again, I am also attracted to bright shiny objects.

Do you mean the meeting in Seattle? While I would truly enjoy meeting some of my colleagues and new friends, I can't really justify the expense of such a trip right now.

Plus it's in Seattle. If I ever went to Seattle, it would probably cause a locally dangerous disruption in the matter/antimatter balance of the universe. It's better if I remain in a positively charged environment.
